Traditional Mehndi has been entertaining my surfaces lately. One is a pot for a plant.
Tomorrow is Letter Writing Tuesday at our house. The girls are bringing out their typrewriters and I am DJ simultaneously. Aretha Franklin and Bill Evans Trio are two albums waiting to be played.
I read this book about stopping the potential for a nuclear war this week. Today I did nothing but wrestle Bello, draw, listen to records, and make a grocery run. All day. Also, I helped my new housemate, Sara, nail paintings to our walls.
I am pretty up and down these days. I woke up today realizing there were at least 3 or 4 things capable of ruining my mood. Then I walked into my living room and found out Sara owns a 33 of The Point. And then I got a letter from my friend Camilla and it looked like this

so then things seemed to be going pretty well. Also, Clinton Street Theatre is playing Godard's Pierrot Le Fou this week. There is this strange song right in the middle.
I made an ENORMOUS cuban dinner in celebration of the new house mate and Enero birthdays, Emily and Wesley. It was a huge success. Arroz con Pollo and Fried Plantains with a mango, pineapple, papaya smoothie. Everyone was lathargic by the fire afterwards but also giggly since Sara's parents dosed everyone's smoothie with liquid cannabis. Hehe.
Also, I had a psychadellic experience underground in a root cellar for a few hours. Ask me to enlighten you on the memory, if you please.
