I can't send my homemade envelope unless I rid of the button! Shucks.
Got the new record player. Portable Newcomb. Often classified as use for "school/institutional" purposes. Mine is grey but sweet.
This is a Califone version of mine, sort of.
Props to Aaron at Mississippi Records.

This weekend had the best weather I've seen since Texas' New Years. Mikey and I went to Overlook park and ate Waffle sandwiches (?!) in the sunlight. Saturday I got a chance to work on the greenhouse with Jon's friends and got a milkshake at Rose's afterwards. Later I hung out in the projection room at Clinton Street Theatre before seeing Pierrot Le Fou. I was cracking up and throroughly enjoying this movie as many groups were casually walking out of the theatre. Ahhh, so little is the patience the american audience has for cinema!! We went to a show and things afterwards but everything seemed much too social.
Last Thursday's craft night was such a huge success Emily has begun to call it an institution. I agree. And I would like to mention my record player suits that very purpose!
My house is in a form of purgatory right now since I have begun renovations and will soon paint but nothing is quite there yet. Some remarkable changes will be happening once I acquire furniture pieces and give it some more lovin'. Change is good.
I think I may convince Rachel to bring my old bike, Nimble Jimble, back from Austin to Sugar Land. I left it at the co-op because I thought people there would make better use of it (rather than sitting in my parents garage). I was wrong.
I am off to see Foghorn Stringband at Moon and Sixpence.
Is everyone thrilled for inauguration?

My life isn't boring but my blog is.
